These are the words Bruno must use when requesting permission in person or by phone for Bruno’s Pickleball scheduling texts.
Read before asking for a yes
“Would you like to receive recurring automated text messages from Bruno’s Pickleball about weekly availability, game invitations, game changes, cancellations or removals, reminders, and waiting-list offers?
Game reminders arrive at 7 p.m. the evening before and as early as 7 a.m. on game day. Permission to receive texts is optional and separate from joining the player directory. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You can also email brunojfrancois@gmail.com.
Your mobile phone number and messaging consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Record permission separately
Bruno must read the entire script, provide both policy links, allow time for review, and wait for an explicit affirmative answer. Silence, an imported contact, a selected checkbox in Bruno’s directory, or interest in playing is not SMS consent. If a player does not agree, do not enroll them.
Before any automated texting begins, Bruno must retain a private written record with the player’s name and phone number, date and time, whether the conversation was in person or by phone, who obtained permission, this script’s version, and the player’s affirmative answer. These records are not published on this page.
This information page is not a signup form. Bruno may record an explicit verbal yes after completing this full script and providing both policy links. That can enroll the player directly. If Bruno instead sends an introduction based on permission for that one text, the player must reply YES to enroll through the introduction; NO declines. Selection alone never grants consent, and STOP always stops automated texts. General texting stays off while the limited test is being verified.

When the SMS service is active, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You may also contact Bruno at brunojfrancois@gmail.com now. Opting out of texts does not cancel a game registration; manage your place on your personal dashboard or ask Bruno for help.
